Whether you are private persons, manufacturers, craftsmen, local communities, whatever your collection needs – in terms of quantity or frequency – we put at your disposal our expertise as glass recycler.
Our modern and effective installations allow us to process the following glass types :
- Flat glass (simple window white glass, colour glass, mirror, lacquered, hardened, laminated, double window glass, car windscreen …)
- White bottle glass (exempt of pollution, with or without silk screen printing, with or without label)
- Only vitreous ceramics (glass resisting to heat, such as oven or micro-wave plates, fire place inserts etc ..) and wired glass cannot be processed in our systems.
Glass is brought into our Châteaubernard platform, which is fully conforming to environmental norms. After a visual inspection, it is sorted and stored by categories, then processed :
- Manual sort to remove the biggest impurities
- Removal of metallic particles (electro-magnetic process)
- Grinding
- Removal of non-iron particles (eddy currents)
- Sifting, to obtain several size gradations.
- Optical sort (high technology allowing the removal of opaque elements such as ceramic, stone, china, rubber …)
- Quality control : based on your specifications
- Final product storage
